Mr. Saju Augustine is the Managing Director of Augment Management Consulting LLC, leading the firm since its inception and shaping its growth, reputation, and client-focused culture. A Chartered Accountant (FCA) with an MBA in Finance, brings over 36 years of experience in audit, assurance, accounting, and business advisory across India and the Middle East.

At Augment, Mr. Augustine oversees advisory engagements for 400+ SMEs and large enterprises, guiding clients through complex financial and regulatory landscapes. Under his leadership, the firm has become a trusted provider of transparent and strategic financial solutions.

Dinoop’s extensive advisory portfolio includes transaction advisory, mergers and acquisitions, business valuations, due diligence, feasibility studies, business and financial planning, and budget forecasting. He is also highly experienced in internal audits, policy and procedure development, process mapping, gap analysis, and HR reviews, and has successfully led organizations through tax and transfer pricing impact assessments, implementation and compliance requirements.

He has worked across a wide range of industries—manufacturing, retail, FMCG, education, hospitality, real estate, construction, and family businesses—earning a strong reputation for delivering tailored, high-impact solutions that support sustainable growth and operational excellence.

Austria Paiva

Manager - Legal & Corporate Services

Austria Paiva holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from India, where she began her career and gained a strong foundation in legal documentation and compliance. She later advanced her career in Malaysia, focusing on company formation and corporate advisory services.

Since 2016, Austria has been based in the United Arab Emirates, specialising in corporate services and consulting. She offers a broad spectrum of services, including the establishment of companies in mainland and free zone jurisdictions, managing business restructuring projects, company domiciliation, tax registrations, filing reconsideration requests for tax penalty waivers, compiling and filing Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) data, and providing corporate services for company winding up and liquidation, including tax deregistration.

Austria works closely with various licensing and regulatory authorities across the UAE to ensure her clients’ operations remain compliant with applicable laws. She also advises on corporate governance practices and supports clients in maintaining robust and compliant corporate structures.

With over 17 years of professional experience and a solid legal foundation, Austria Paiva brings extensive expertise in corporate law, regulatory compliance, governance, and corporate administrative services—providing clients with practical, strategic solutions to support their business growth in the UAE and beyond.

Nirmal Chandran

Nirmal Chandran is a seasoned professional holding an MBA in Marketing with over 17 years of diversified experience across Business Development, Sales, Marketing, and Strategic Growth functions. His career spans leading roles in audit and advisory firms, banks, insurance companies, and financial institutions, giving him a comprehensive understanding of the regional business landscape.

At Augment, Nirmal oversees business development initiatives, client relationship management, and growth strategy. He plays a key role in expanding the firm’s presence across Audit, Corporate Tax Compliance, VAT Compliance, ICV Certification, Business Advisory, Internal Audit, and Corporate Services.

Known for his strong communication skills, market insight, and client-focused approach, Nirmal consistently drives value by identifying opportunities, building lasting partnerships, and supporting clients with solutions tailored to their business needs.

His MBA background, combined with extensive field experience, enables him to align business objectives with strategic execution, making him a vital part of Augment’s professional team.

Jean Elizabeth John

Assistant Manager - Tax & Advisory

Jean Elizabeth John is a Chartered Accountant with over five and a half years of post-qualification experience. She possesses strong expertise in UAE taxation, particularly Value Added Tax (VAT), and has been extensively involved in Transfer Pricing documentation and analysis, as well as Economic Substance Regulations (ESR) compliance. She also has hands-on experience in XBRL reporting, internal audits, and various other review engagements, and is proficient in multiple ERP and accounting systems.

Her professional exposure spans a diverse range of industries, including FMCG, Educational Institutions, Hospitality, Pharmaceuticals, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Real Estate, and more. Throughout her career, she has successfully led and executed several complex assignments, consistently demonstrating strong analytical capabilities, effective teamwork, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.

Suni Mary Varughese

Assistant Manager - Tax & Advisory

Suni Mary Varughese is a qualified member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) with a strong background in finance, taxation, and compliance. She has also completed a Diploma in Value Added Tax (VAT), equipping her with in-depth knowledge of indirect tax frameworks and regional tax regulations.

With over four years of experience, Suni has successfully managed a variety of complex VAT assignments across diverse industries. Her expertise includes providing VAT compliance and advisory services, conducting detailed VAT health checks to identify compliance gaps and risk areas, reviewing VAT returns, and reconciling tax accounts with accuracy and precision.

She has also guided clients on VAT implications for cross-border transactions, submitting VAT refunds, supported VAT registration and deregistration processes, and has been involved in preparing and submitting voluntary disclosures and private clarifications.

Christopher Jacob

Senior Consultant - Advisory

Christopher Jacob is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA, USA) and Production Engineering graduate from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Calicut, with over three years of experience in financial analysis, business valuation and feasibility studies. He serves as a Senior Consultant in the Advisory Division, where he leads and executes financial modelling, feasibility studies and due diligence assignments across the manufacturing, healthcare and technology sectors.

Christopher has successfully managed a diverse portfolio of clients in the UAE and internationally, including high-value projects in Qatar and the United Kingdom. He specializes in developing dynamic financial models and Power BI dashboards that enhance decision-making accuracy and drive strategic growth, leveraging his unique blend of engineering insight and financial expertise.

Faris Madappat

Senior Associate - Tax

A qualified Chartered Accountant with eight years of experience in the UAE and India, he specializes in UAE Corporate Tax, IFRS compliance, assurance, and financial reporting. His professional background covers a wide range of sectors including construction, manufacturing, hospitality, real estate, retail, and education.

He has led Corporate Tax computations and return filings, managed end-to-end audit engagements, performed financial statement reviews, assessed internal controls, and supported investigative procedures for various organizations. His strong technical expertise and disciplined work ethic help clients meet regulatory requirements and enhance financial governance. He is a key contributor to the firm’s Tax and Advisory practice, known for his accuracy, analytical insight, and commitment to professional excellence.

Helen Mary Roy

Senior Associate - Tax

A Chartered Accountant (CA) who brings a total of more than five years of experience, combining strategic insights gained from both the Indian and UAE markets. This foundation is complemented by two years of intense, specialized consultancy focus within the critical domain of Corporate Tax (CT) in the UAE.

Helen expertise is centered on comprehensive tax support across Free Zone and Mainland jurisdictions, focusing on three key areas: Corporate Tax Impact Assessments, Implementation of tax planning structures, and accurate CT Return Filing. Rigorous assessments are conducted to identify tax risks and opportunities for efficiency. Complex findings are translated into clear, actionable advice, followed by the recommendation and implementation of strategic planning structures and necessary amendments.

Savitha Shiburaj

Savitha Shiburaj is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) and a seasoned tax and compliance professional with over 14 years of post-qualification experience and nearly 18 years of overall experience across the UAE and India. With substantial professional experience in the UAE, she has established herself as a trusted practitioner in Corporate Tax, VAT, AML compliance, and assurance services, supporting clients across diverse sectors including real estate, education, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing etc. Her background includes substantial experience in tax implementation, compliance reviews, and regulatory reporting aligned with the evolving UAE tax landscape, complemented by strong exposure to external and internal audits and IFRS-based financial reporting.

Currently managing a diversified portfolio focused on Corporate Tax, VAT, and compliance engagements, Savitha provides targeted advisory solutions to meet clients’ tax and regulatory obligations. Holding a Diploma in UAE VAT and extensive practical experience, she supports organisations in building robust tax frameworks, resolving complex tax matters, and strengthening their readiness for regulatory compliance. She leads an experienced team that supports high-quality compliance reviews and upholds professional, regulatory, and industry standards.
